Adrenaline Trail Hiking Event Terms and Conditions

1. Acknowledgement of Risk By participating in this hiking event, you acknowledge that hiking in difficult terrain involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, and death. You agree to assume all risks associated with this activity.

2. Health and Fitness Requirements Participants must be in good physical health and possess the necessary fitness level for a difficult hike. It is recommended to consult a physician before undertaking such strenuous activities. By signing up, you confirm that you have no medical conditions that would make participation dangerous.

3. Equipment and Gear Participants must bring appropriate gear, including but not limited to:

  • Sturdy hiking boots
  • Weather-appropriate clothing
  • Sufficient water and food
  • First aid kit
  • Hat
  • Backpack
  • Sun Protection Cream
  • powerbank
  • Any other items listed in the event-specific gear checklist

Failure to bring necessary equipment may result in the denial of participation.

4. Guideline Compliance Participants must comply with all instructions and guidelines provided by the event organizers and guides. This includes staying on marked trails, following safety protocols, and respecting local wildlife and natural environments.

5. Waiver of Liability By participating, you agree to waive any and all claims of liability against highlanders961, its staff, and event organizers for any injury, loss, or damage incurred during the hike.

6. Insurance Participants are strongly advised to have personal travel and health insurance that covers hiking and outdoor adventure activities. Highlanders961 does not provide insurance coverage for participants.

7.1 Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellation by participants less than 48 hours before the event will result in a 50% refund.
  • No refunds will be given for cancellations within 24 hours of the event.
  • Highlanders961 reserves the right to cancel the event due to weather conditions, insufficient participant numbers, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.
7.2 Prepayment Participants are required to make a prepayment by Friday as a deadline. The amount of 45$ must be sent through Whish on 70575510 or by OMT. Failure to make the payment by the specified deadline will result in the cancellation of your participation.

8. Emergency Situations In the event of an emergency, participants must follow the guide's instructions and assist as needed. It is crucial to inform the guide immediately of any injuries or health issues during the hike.

9. Personal Responsibility Each participant is responsible for their personal belongings and equipment. Highlanders961 is not liable for any loss or damage to personal items.

10. Environmental Responsibility Participants are expected to follow Leave No Trace principles, including carrying out all trash, minimizing environmental impact, and respecting wildlife.

11. Consent to Terms By registering for this hiking event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
